Appel à contribution : « Early Modern Italian Studies », Los Angeles, PAMLA, 11-13 novembre 2022, date limite le 15 mai 2022

Please consider submitting an abstract to the special session “Early Modern Italian Studies” at the 2022 PAMLA conference, to be held in Los Angeles, California at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center and Hotel, Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13, 2022.

This panel is open to papers presenting new research in Italian Studies with an Early Modern focus (roughly 1300–1700 CE). Research in cross-cultural early global studies with connections to Italy are also welcome and encouraged. Papers that engage with the 2022 conference theme “Geographies of the Fantastic and Quotidian” are of particular interest, but the panel is open to a wide range of topics.
