Appel à candidature : Adjunct/Visiting professor of Art History, Vassar-Wesleyan Program, Paris, 2023

The Vassar-Wesleyan Program in Paris (VWPP) is searching for a new adjunct/visiting professor of Art History to teach one seminar per semester (period and specialization are open), beginning January 2023 or Fall 2023, in their Reid Hall location (at the Columbia Global Center — Reid Hall — in the 6th arrondissement).

There are agreements with Sorbonne Université (formerly Paris 4), Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris 3), Paris Cité (formerly Paris 7), and the Université Paris Est Créteil (UPEC).

The spring semester will begin on January 23 and end during the week of May 8, 2023; the fall semester typically begins during the second or third week of September and runs through the second or third week of December. The seminar meets in the classroom at Reid Hall once a week for two hours, but are also strongly encouraged visits beyond the classroom space so students can take full advantage of learning about art in Paris (museums, galleries, exhibits, street art, etc.).
